What will be your role?

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Mechanical Assembler will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will perform the following responsibilities:
• Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings;
• Perform the assembly or the overhaul of mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic components or systems;
• Use conventional assembly and mechanical adjustment tools;
• Complete assembly or overhaul of various refrigeration systems;
• Perform other mechanical duties assigned by the foreman.

Which candidate profile are we looking for?

• DSV or ACS in Mechanics or equivalent experience;
• Minimum 5 years experience in assembly and / or mechanical repairs;
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, as well as assembly and adjustment procedures;
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to perform all manual tasks;
• Perform work in accordance with established procedures, drawings and rules of the mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components;
• Knowledge of refrigeration and its components;
• Autonomous and resourceful;
• Dynamic and good team spirit;
• Bilingual, spoken and written (French and English);
• Must understand electrical circuits;
• Must be familiar with Kaizen-5S philosophies and ISO 9001-2015 procedures.
• Offered salary between $20/hrs to $24/hrs depending on the candidate’s experience based on a 40-hour week.
